Dalaman Airport Transfers: Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Göcek, Marmaris & More
Shuttle buses, dolmuş, taxis and private transfers from Dalaman Airport (DLM)
Dalaman Airport (DLM) is the gateway to the Turquoise Coast. If you are heading to Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Çalış, Göcek, Dalyan, Marmaris, Kalkan or Kaş, this is almost certainly where you will land. The airport is quiet and easy to use, and there are good options to reach every resort: cheap shuttle buses, taxis and comfortable private transfers.
Two bus companies, Havaş and Muttaş, run between Dalaman Airport and the towns of the region. Havaş buses usually leave about half an hour after flights land, while Muttaş runs to a timetable. They stop at Fethiye’s main bus station (otogar), and Havaş also stops in Günlükbaşı, close to Çalış. Check the current timetable and fare on their websites or at the desk in arrivals.

- Dalyan: about 25 km, around 30 minutes.
- Göcek: about 25 km, around 25 minutes.
- Fethiye and Çalış: about 50 km, around 50–60 minutes.
- Ölüdeniz, Hisarönü and Ovacık: about 65 km, around 1 hour 15 minutes.
- Marmaris: about 95 km, around 1 hour 30 minutes.
- Kalkan: about 120 km, around 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours.
- Kaş: about 145 km, around 2 hours 15 minutes.
Airport shuttle buses (Havaş and Muttaş)
- The cheapest way to reach Fethiye and Marmaris. Buses leave from just outside arrivals.
- To Fethiye: buses go to the main bus station (otogar). From there, take a dolmuş or taxi to Çalış, Ölüdeniz, Hisarönü or Kayaköy.
- To Marmaris: buses run to Marmaris bus station; continue by dolmuş to İçmeler or Turunç.
- Back to the airport: buses leave the bus stations on a timetable; allow plenty of time before your flight.
Timetables and stops
- Muttaş (Fethiye): about four buses a day leave Fethiye bus station for the airport, stopping at Günlükbaşı, Çalış junction (Çalış Kavşağı), Yanıklar and Göcek. - Muttaş (Marmaris): about four buses a day between Marmaris bus station and the airport, via Gökova, Köyceğiz and Ortaca. See the Muttaş Marmaris–Dalaman Airport timetable.
- Havaş: buses are planned around flight times, with stops in Fethiye (bus station, Adnan Menderes Boulevard, Günlükbaşı), Göcek and Dalaman, and to Marmaris via Gökova, Köyceğiz and Ortaca. Ask Havaş for the bus that matches your flight (call centre 0850 222 0 487) or check havas.net.
- Tickets: Muttaş buses accept credit cards and do not take reservations; just turn up at the stop.
Private transfer (most comfortable)
- Door to door: a driver meets you in arrivals with a name sign and drives you straight to your hotel or villa.
- Price per vehicle, so it is good value for families and groups, and the best option for Ölüdeniz, Kalkan and Kaş.
- Ask for child seats when you book.
- Late or delayed flights: a pre-booked driver tracks your flight and waits for you.
Taxi
- Taxi ranks are outside arrivals. Taxis use a meter, but for long trips agree the price before you leave.
- Handy for Dalyan and Göcek, which are close to the airport.
Car rental at Dalaman Airport
- Rental desks are in the arrivals hall, and many local companies deliver cars to the terminal.
- A car is great for exploring Saklıkent, Kayaköy, Patara, Kaputaş beach and the Lycian coast at your own pace.
- Check the insurance and fuel policy, and photograph the car before you drive away.

How long is the transfer from Dalaman Airport to Marmaris?
About 1 hour 30 minutes by road. Shuttle buses also run to Marmaris bus station.
Which airport is best for Kaş and Kalkan?
Dalaman is closer for Kalkan (about 2 hours) and Kaş (about 2 hours 15 minutes). Antalya Airport is an alternative for Kaş, about 3 hours away.
